Back to normal
It rained... great, since our trip was mainly based on outside activities.
On our way to the island we made the quiz in the bus. It was actually harder than we thought. Some questions though were really easy. And of course we had questions about German and Korean topics, ranging from history, over politics and geography to general things.

8. Wofür stehen die Trigramme auf der koreanischen Flagge?
(sorry, in German...) Well, they are just a few examples. Anyway, it was a lot of fun. Everybody got presents. Well, and since the first price was not given away, because we only had six, and not as expected seven groups, me, and Mrs. Kim, who created the test, got the wine bottles!
So first we drove to a museum, where we could read about some parts of Korean history, like the Josun Dinasty for example.
Tripitaka is a printing technique, which reminded me of my art classes in highschool. You have a block of wood and then cut out the pictures you want to print. Well, in their case it was not a picture, but tiny little chinese letters (at this time they still used chinese letters). Must have been really hard work.
After the visit, it was almost noon and we looked for a cosy place to start our picnic. We had a lot of food. It was great.
After a short ride with the bus, we walked around in a park, where we met hundreds of school kids (they especially loved my bosses). Since it was still raining this walk was not very romantic but surprisingly nobody was in a bad mood and we had a good time.
Then, we visited, what Kangwhado is most famous for, its dolmen.
Well, but by now everybody had enough of running around outside so we decided to go to Norebang. Although I have to add this decision was more or less made by the interns.
The bosses were not very happy about that. Actually, at first me neither, but I was surprised when it was fun and even Mr. Niedermark (boss) sang a song.
Then we finally went to the best part, the dinner at a small restaurant near the sea. T. and I went outside to the bathroom and when coming back, watched one of the women there fishing out some shrimps from an aquarium. I thought it was cool, but when we entered the restaurant, we realized who they were for. She poured the living shrimps in hot pans on our tables. Was kind of creapy when they jumped out on the people. They do this to show that the animals are really fresh. And I have to say, they were delicious. :-)
Well, that was mostly it. Back in Seoul T., D., 장희 and I went to Hongdae, club night, my third club night here (it is once a month and I went there the first night I arrived in Seoul).
Oh, on Monday I saw the Berlin wall and the bear. It was not really special. Only some children riding on the bear and some people making pictures in front of a small part of the wall.
The rest of this week I was at work, being bored and trying to get some sleep at night.
Today is again Friday, ... and it's again raining. Great. The party tonight at the embassador's house is mostly outside. It will be freakin' freezin'. Well, with about 400 it could also get warm.
The mayor of Hamburg, Ole von Beust will also be there. *great* I just hope there will be good food, since this is what I am most interested in. :-) ... as most of you should know.
