At work... as usual
As my title implies, ... I am at work. And it's already Wednesday. Wow! Well, the last two days were really pretty stressful, but fun! I love having stress, I hate being bored... as you can imagine. (and I think some of you know what I'm talking about... Dini :-) ... checking your e-mails three or four times a day, checking every possible forum for new entries, and so on) Well, there is nothing to do, so why not give you some information about my last few days.
Actually not much happened. Well on Friday, we (Jennifer (new intern), Britta (intern), Mrs. Park (employee), Mrs. Kim (employee) and I and of course Jae-woo) were invited to Jae-woo's cousin's place to eat. He is the director of a hospital and definitely not poor. I could also see that when looking at his apartment. He even had a woman cooking for us. It was really expensive, good food, a lot of sushi, bulgogi and special Korean salads. After finishing the dinner, I already felt kind of really full and tired and not well at all. The whole week had been very stressful for me with the going to Incheon twice after work and getting up very early twice in the morning so that evening I think my system just didn't work properly. When we also went out after dinner to drink beer, I was just suffering the whole evening, wanting to go home. But the area was pretty far away from ours, so I didn't want to go alone and I waited and waited... until finally at 12.30 they decided we could go home.
Well, at home I felt the consequences. I threw up twice that night and the next day I was totally sick. Fortunately Jang-hee came and I had somebody I could moan about my agony. In the afternoon we went to a traditional Korean doctor, where I received my first acupuncture treatment ever. I had about eleven needles in my body and some weird thing with incense on my belly. It didn't hurt at all, except for the ones on my left body part hurt a little bit. Afterwards they asked me how I feel and I said, like throwing up. I didn't of course and at home I could finally sleep better. Sunday I was totally fine again. I even cooked a good chicken soup.
On Monday Jang-hee had his last exam which means, he came to Seoul right afterwards and stayed there until today. Tonight and tomorrow night I will go to Incheon because of my private lesson. I hate the stress... but just this and next week, then I don't have to travel so far any more, because I will move to Incheon. Wow... only one and a half week left... can't wait. :-)
... and I am really happy these days... don't know why ... hm, maybe I know. There are various factors.
- my mom is coming one day before my birthday
- only 7 working days left
- slept enough
- am in love :-)
Have to make a break. I'm sitting the whole day. When I'm in Incheon, I want to go to a fitness studio!! I have to live a healthier life. My mom is right, I am really pale...
Bye guys
