Mom is coming!

I have great news today.
Yesterday I talked to my parents. My mom seriously thinks about coming here together with our neighbour Mrs. Sahr. Maybe my Christmas cards helped a little bit. In two cards, the one for Mrs. Sahr and the one for Ernst, my sister's husband, I pleaded for help, persuading my mom to come here. Ernst was also immediately motivated to come here. Unfortunately he can't because of the kids. Too bad, I really love to get visits, especially since I stay so long. Well, but I am really satisfied if my mom and Mrs. Sahr come. I hope they will get a flight around end of February, because my University will start on the 27th of Febuary. I think they might need me to look at sights. Seoul might be a little bit more difficult than Madrid... :-) Jang-hee was also really excited when he heard about it and immediately started making plans, like picking them up at the airport by car, driving to Ilsan (his parents') place and eating for dinner with his parents. Well, I think that might be a little bit too stressful for the women. I know, how it feels to fly from Germany to Korea. They will be totally exhausted and will have to fight with a big jetlag, as everybody who comes here.
Moreover I finally dared to tell my parents, that I will live together with Jang-hee, beginning in three weeks. He rented a bigger apartment. I thought my parents my say no to this, because my they might think I don't study or whatsoever, but surprisingly my mom said, she had already thought so and my dad was really happy about it. They said I am doing a good job in managing all this here really well. :-) Thanks to Jang-hee. Well, the good thing is, my parents won't have to pay the key money, which in Incheon would be around 3.000 Dollar, not that high, as compared to Seoul with 5.000 Dollar. Of course you get it back after the contract expired, but it also means a lot of interests you lose. Anyway, I was really happy yesterday. Of course, who wouldn't be after so many good news.
Well, today is Monday again. Now I have exactly three weeks left. I have to admit, I am really happy when it's over. I prefer being a student. I don't mind working, if I have enough work, but just sitting around being bored or just writing my monthly newsletter, always the same work, gets really annoying...
OK, I have to stop writing and pretend working... sometimes it's really difficult to pretend..if there is really nothing I can do. :-)
Bye

Hi,

deine ONNI :) *grins*
