Thank you!
Have to admit, that I'm a little bit bored... The problem is, when you are bored one time and you get work later, you can't motivate yourself any more. It's just too late.
Well, today I mostly spent my work day with looking for information for my potential Bachelor thesis. I thought about writing about FTA (Free Trade Agreements) between Korea and other countries maybe. I don't know if I will be able to write enough about this topic, but no risk no fun, right? I had to do some research for work and read about FTA in Korea. Korea is just beginning to expand its agreements and so far has concluded only two, with Chile and Singapore. Sounds like an interesting topic to me. Well, I will see. I will have enough time to do research.
My efforts concerning the extension of my stay here in Korea are developing very positively. Today I got an e-mail from Mrs. Randow (secretary at the foreign office at FH Deggendorf). She attached a rough draft of a recommendation letter. I just had to add some personal information and send it back. She will then give it to Mr. Höpfl, the president of the FH Deggendorf and he will sign it. Wow... very official. Anyway, before I contacted Mr. Loibl (vize president) concerning this matter, since I had met him last semester due to my scholarship for Korea. He answered with a really nice e-mail and said that the FH will support me in any way possible.
Since they have helped me a lot so far, I sent Mrs. Randow a small present, some typical Korean craft and Mr. Loibl a postcard. I am so thankful they support me so much. And also to my parents. Thank you.
I am sooo lucky, I know.
OK, maybe I should stop... I am getting sentimental.
Well, one last thing. A few weeks ago I realized, that my whole life seems like having been totally planned for the last six/seven years or so.
I can remember exactly how my mom was standing in the dining room, bowed over the table, looking at an advertisement by YFU in the newspaper and asking me, if I want to improve my English. How old was I? Maybe 14? Of course I wanted to improve my English, so we applied for the host-family program and in the summer of the same year Laura from the USA came to my family. Afterwards Lisa came when I was sixteen. With her and her family's help I got the chance to live and study in the USA for a year when I was sixteen and seventeen. So when I came back, of course my English was quite good and I definitely wanted to study something, where I could take advantage of that fact. The only possibility, since I didn't want to become an English teacher (just look at these spoiled little children nowa days... zzz) was the business area. Luckily I was accepted immediately in Deggendorf. The main choice why I chose Deggendorf was the fact, that the course International Management is totally taught in English and of course that a study and an internship semester are included in the studies. And I am soo lucky I went there. I met the coolest people ever! I miss them soo much. And I learned soo much there, not only from my German friends, but also from the students from various other countries, like Spain, Czech Republic, Poland, ...

And of course, not to forget about my close friends from High-school. I have now also met other people, maybe not so nice or open-minded like them... and I realized, how lucky I was to have shared my youth with people like my school friends. It made me more open-minded and anyway, they all participated in partially making me like I am today. And I am satisfied with who and how I am.
Anyway, the course brought me to Madrid and now to Korea. Isn't this fate? Really, come on... I still can't really believe how my life developed.
OK, I have to stop. Work is almost over.
Thank you all for supporting me all the time and for being such good friends!!! Love you!
