Let's get loud!
Hey guys,
I just saw, my last post is already more than a month ago. I'm so sorry!
Well, life is not only fun here...
This week I finished my second course and I have to say, it was not that easy. Although our professor, Prof. Kam, was great and everybody loved him, the course was really quite hard. We had to do another team project. Unfortunately, as I have experienced quite often before here in Korea, always just a few people end up doing it... and of course I am usually among these people. So one night before we had to present, I had to stay in our lab until 3am and went
back there at 9am to finish the presentation. Except of Galina nobody from my group was there. Quite frustrating. At least we got a good grade.
On Monday we had presentations then until 8pm. Some people from other groups hadn't slept at all, so they were really quite tired.
Poor guys. But of course they couldn't refuse to go out to eat together with prof. Kam and the rest of the class. It was really quite a fun night. We ate Samgjobsal (Bauchspeck) and then went to Noraebang (Karaoke).
So this week I had vaccation. Unfortunately I was (still am) sick, so I couldn't do much.
And next Wednesday already the next course starts "Global Marketing Management". I hate Marketing... thank you professor Zich. Anyway, I think this course will really be quite difficult. We already got the class materials. It's f*** a lot.
So, I guess I should get healthy really quickly and enjoy the last days of freedom before stress begins again.
Oh, and I met a German boy! What a surprise. Maybe I already mentioned there is another German student at Inha University. His name is Philip from Rosenheim. We get along really well. But last weekend I met another German, also Bavarian, from Erlangen. He works for a Swiss company, which is doing a 2 year project here in Incheon together with a Korean company. His name is Christoph. He is only 25 and already partly in charge of the project. He had studied in Korea before for one year, and just like me, he had loved it. Unfortunately now he hates Korea suddenly. He says it is really hard to work together with Koreans. In the business world they are considered among the most difficult to work with. WOW, I didn't know this.
Well, anyway, I want to apply for my internship also here in Korea. We will see what happens. I am open concerning my future. I will either do my internship and thesis with a German company in Korea, with a Korean company in Korea or with a German company in Germany.
Hm, somehow I don't know what else to write... not much has happened during the last weeks. I was quite busy with studying. Good girl! :-) ... which is why I got good grades so far (both courses A+)
Bye guys
